Custom electronics and PCB design for industry
Electra supports industrial companies, machine builders, device manufacturers and R&D teams in developing custom electronic boards for professional applications. We work on new designs, redesigns of existing boards, technology upgrades, prototypes and electronic solutions intended for series production.
The goal is simple: to design a board that is reliable, documented, testable and consistent with your product's technical, economic and production requirements.

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for PCBs: Electronic Boards That Are Easier to Build
PCB design for manufacturing reduces complexity, rework and cost. A real case with 0201 passives next to power components shows the impact on SMT assembly.

The cost depends on the complexity of the board, the number of PCB layers, the type of components, whether firmware is needed, EMC constraints, the tests required and the level of documentation. After an initial technical assessment we can give you a clear estimate of costs, lead times and planned activities.
Every electronic board is a project in its own right, so there is no standard design time. Simpler projects may take a few weeks, while more complex solutions need longer.
To build the project on solid foundations, it is essential to share information that is as precise and complete as possible: intended operation, operating environment, interfaces, dimensions, cost constraints and expected volumes. The more detail at the start, the lower the risk of revisions, delays and problems during development.
Yes. We can work on existing boards to replace obsolete components, improve reliability, fix technical problems, reduce costs, prepare the board for production or rebuild missing documentation.
Yes. As well as hardware design, we develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers, HMI interfaces, industrial communications, motor control, sensors, actuators and diagnostic systems.
Our goal is to design electronic boards that not only work but are also manufacturable, testable and documented. That is why we consider the BOM, layout, testing, component availability and assembly constraints from the very start.
